Negotiation is a skill well worth mastering. By putting some simple techniques and practices to work, anyone can become a proficient negotiator.

The Art of Negotiation is a practical session, introducing participants to key negotiation styles and techniques that will lead to more effective negotiating. Participants will learn to plan, work through a framework, and use interpersonal skills to an advantage.

In this session, participants will identify existing negotiation styles along with recognize their own. This hands-on negotiation program explores a range of essential negotiation skills: defining outcomes, preparing a strategy, and adopting and adapting to styles. Whether in interfacing with colleagues or external relationships, participants will notice greater confidence and competence to achieve better deals.

KEY LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
  • Identify the basic principles of negotiation

  • Outline a preparation strategy for their negotiations

  • Practice applying these principles in a role-play scenario
