JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Research Intern for Spring 2024.

WIN is a growing company looking to hire a research intern to help support our expansion efforts, identify new business opportunities, and help the team with writing tasks. This internship is ideal for individuals interested in pursuing a career in journalism, publishing, business, marketing, or other related fields.

The responsibilities of this position will include writing content for the company, and researching and identifying new potential markets, business ideas, and partners. You will develop an understanding of how the organization and the industry operates, and gain writing experience.A completely remote role, the intern hired for this position should be excited to share in the development of the brand. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compiling data and analyzing trends, and presenting it to the team 

  • Research target demographics for marketing and sales outreach

  • Develop lists of women’s groups, programs and organizations for potential affiliations and collaborations 

  • Contributing to partnerships by creating outreach lists for potential speakers and sponsors for WIN events

  • Research and write content for blogs, forums and social networks

  • Assisting WIN’s marketing efforts via researching website and social media optimization

  • Perform keyword analysis and cost/benefit analysis

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE WE’RE LOOKING FOR…

  • Experience leading research projects

  • High attention to detail

  • Passion for the women’s empowerment industry

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office product suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Google Suite (Experience with Google Analytics is a plus)

  • A self-starting work style and eagerness to succeed at every task at hand, no matter how small

  • Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in clearly communicating in written form. 

  • Well-rounded young professionals who can evaluate a situation and identify its weaknesses and strengths. 

  • Ability to complete tasks and monitor own benchmarks with minimal oversight.

  • The energy and passion to grow as an individual, as well as helping WIN grow!

TIME

10 - 15 hours / week, schedule is flexible but must have availability during working hours (9 am - 5 pm ET) Monday - Friday
