JOB SUMMARY:

We’re seeking candidates for our upcoming internship opportunities. Specific opportunities will be listed as individual jobs on an ongoing basis and you can apply directly to those. However, you can apply here for a variety of roles. As an intern, you will support the ongoing work plan and goals of WIN, including but not limited to: expanding partnerships; supporting and improving communication efforts, including on social media and through the creation of content; supporting the launch of training initiatives; and building and maintaining a base knowledge about WIN operations.

Important Note: This is a general call for internships throughout 2024-2025. We accept applications year-round from interested and qualified applicants, on an ongoing basis for internship opportunities with our WIN Team. Only those candidates selected for interviews/further assessment by hiring managers will be contacted on an ongoing basis, as per organizational need.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES

The intern will assist in any of the following tasks:

  • Gain industry and organizational knowledge through business interactions and job assignments

  • Provide marketing support to WIN team

  • Perform marketing research

  • Gain exposure to leaders spanning multiple organizations

  • Write blogs, features, and success stories

  • Participate in the administration of WIN’s various newsletter campaigns

  • Assist in boosting WIN’s presence in online communications and social media; provide assistance as required in the maintenance of the WIN online platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Vimeo, etc. 

  • Assist in organizing events, launches of programs, workshops, and conferences

  • Participate in department brainstorms, campaign briefs, and after-action reviews

Further, the Operations Manager is committed to providing the intern with the training, guidance, and support necessary to complete the above duties and responsibilities effectively and within the internship period.  This will include, but not be limited to, scheduled meetings (weekly) to assess output progress systems training (if required) and completion of required university reports for the purpose of meeting any necessary Degree requirements
