Katherine Gentile

Instructor at Columbia University - Preprofessional Program + WIN Coach

Katherine specializes in teaching and lecturing on conflict resolution, mediation, negotiation and communication. Currently she teaches the course; Introduction to Conflict Resolution as well as Introduction to Negotiation at the School of Professional Studies at Columbia University. She has worked as an assistant professor at the Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Program at Columbia University in the study of Advanced Conflict Resolution. Katherine works as a guest lecturer and consultant providing interactive workshops and in-house training sessions on negotiation, mediation, conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, and effective communication. 

Katherine Gentile holds an MS in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University and a BFA from the Mason Gross School of the Arts in theater.

In addition to her work in the academic world, Katherine designed and teaches a program that helps children understand basic classical text.
