Dr. Laura Manyweather is a Lead Consultant for Tetracore Consulting LLC. Tetracore Consulting is a SAMS registered certified woman owned small business. Laura brings over 26 years of Private, Public and Nonprofit experience to contracting agencies and partners. Laura received her Bachelor of Sciences from California State University Dominguez Hill in Business Administration. She possesses her Master of Business Administration in Finance from Argosy University. Dr. Manyweather earned her terminal degree from California State University Long Beach in Educational Leadership with an emphasis on Social Justice, in May 2017. Laura's research focused on Critical Race Theory, Prison Industrial Complex, and Black males in Higher Education. Her research aimed to affect policy, shift the conversation and the negative and pervasive paradigm that some faculty and private employers tend to hold toward formerly incarcerated individuals.
Dr. Manyweather is a business owner, college professor, and a consultant. She worked in the corporate sector for 21 years despite bumping into the glass ceiling at each level of her career. She learned the language of business, how to play the game, and the rules to win the game. She successfully transitioned her knowledge and skillset to higher education. Presently, she manages grants and teach business courses at Los Angeles Southwest College to aspiring business owners. Her teaching style to Adult Learning is innovative and intuitive.
Laura served as the President of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) Gardena Chap for four consecutive years. Laura is a servant leader, who is willing to lead from any chair.
Recently, Dr. Manyweather collaborated with her sister Dr. Nicole Johnson, the founder of Tetracore Consulting, LLC. Tetracore is a high touch consultancy firm. Dr. Laura Manyweather wears many hats. She is passionate about health and wellness and mentoring young adults. She enjoys reading & traveling with her family. Dr. Laura Manyweather resides in Southern California with her husband and three beautiful children.
