Lauren McGoodwin

CEO, Career Contessa + Author of Power Moves

Lauren McGoodwin is Career Contessa’s CEO, #1 power move advocate, and has a life mission to help women build successful and fulfilling careers on their terms. Lauren launched Career Contessa in 2013 out of her master’s thesis project to close the gap in career development resources for women. Career Contessa now helps over 2 million women each year with their careers through content, online learning courses, and job listings.

Formerly, Lauren was a Recruiter for Hulu focused on hiring, employer branding, and talent development. She has a Bachelor's in Education from University of Oregon and a Master’s in Communication Management from USC where she wrote her thesis on millennial women and career resources.

Lauren has spoken at TED Women, Watermark Conference for Women, and South by Southwest, appeared on Cheddar TV, Good Day LA, and regularly contributes on career advice to outlets like Good Morning America, Goop, and more. Lauren is also the host of Career Contessa’s podcast, The Femails, covering all things work, women, and traits of success, and recently released her first book, Power Moves: How Women Can Pivot, Reboot, and Build a Career of Purpose, from Harper Business, and loves to stay in touch on Instagram.

 

Daniella Kahane

Executive Director + CEO, WIN

Daniella Kahane is a Peabody award-winning filmmaker and content creator/producer for companies such as Chevrolet, Honda, and HBO.  Her films have played at top film festivals including Sundance, Tribeca, Toronto, Telluride, SXSW, and others. 

Passionate about female empowerment since her very first documentary, she went on to found an event consulting and planning group, Sensi6, which emerged out of the desire to create charity events that targeted a younger generation of givers. She has since produced events that have raised over one million dollars for organizations in need.

Daniella graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University and School of the Arts, Columbia University. She is the recipient of the HBO Young Producer’s Award and was first runner up for the prestigious Producers Guild of America Award.
